SportCo Limited ("SportCo", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you join our waitlist, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

SportCo Limited is a company registered in England and Wales, building a peer-to-peer marketplace for buying and selling secondhand cricket equipment. You can contact us at info@sportco.online.

2. What we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

Your name
Your email address
The category of gear you're interested in buying or selling

3. Why we collect it

We use this information solely to:

Notify you when SportCo launches
Contact you about Founding Member status if you qualify
Understand demand across different types of cricket gear

We do not use your information for any other purpose, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

4. Where it's stored

Your waitlist submission is processed and stored using a third-party service (currently MailerLite) acting as our data processor. This service is bound by its own data protection obligations and only processes your data on our instructions.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies for basic analytics (Google Analytics), which only load if you actively accept them via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you reject them, no analytics cookies are set. Full details of what's used and how to control it are in our Cookie Policy.

6. How long we keep it

We retain your waitlist information until SportCo launches and you've either become a user of the platform (at which point our full Privacy Policy for the marketplace will apply) or you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Ask what information we hold about you
Ask us to correct or delete it
Withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time

8. Changes to this policy

As SportCo moves from waitlist to full marketplace, this policy will be replaced with a complete Privacy Policy covering account data, transactions, and payments. We'll notify waitlist members when that happens.
